Be Still 52 - Citrus

I first discovered Kim Klassen about 4 or 5 years ago while searching for textures for my photos.  Kim's textures are amazing and I immediately signed up for the Test Kitchen where Kim teaches how to use as well as create textures.  The Test Kitchen led me to Kim's site where I discovered an entirely new world.....still life photography.  Kim teaches several classes on still life photography as well as photoshop and lightroom.  I signed up for Be Still 52 (the second round) and I have learned so many new things.  This is where I began a new chapter in my life.

Time for a new prompt from Be Still 52.  This week it was citrus.  I truly enjoyed taking these photos....it was fun and the smell was heavenly  :)

I started out a little darker and moody.  I just love this surface.  I made it from reclaimed barn wood. The basket is from The Country House and the linen is from Hale Mercantile Co.

The I decided to lighten the mood a little.  I love the fresh smell of lemon.  These linens are also from Hale Mercantile.

This is my new mug from Anthropologie....i adore it.

If you made it to the end thanks so much!  Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
*hugs*
